

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 6, 2016) - Caroline congratulates its artists and partners for their nominations for the 59th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Caroline nominations span across the genres of Rock, Reggae, World, Dance/Electronic, and more. The nominations were announced today Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Winners will be announced on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on the CBS Television Network.
Among the Caroline-related nominations are Best Rock Performance by Alabama Shakes for their Austin City Limits performance of "Joe," a bonus track from the 2015 album Sound & Color. The band won Grammy awards this year for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Album; Celtic Woman, receiving their first ever Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album; Underworld’s career first Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album; Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for The Chainsmokers single “Closer” featuring Halsey which reigned at No. 1 for 11 weeks on the charts; as well as Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical for Nineteen85 who produced Caroline released album We Move by James Vincent McMorrow and Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and “One Dance.”
